barbara and i have been friends for much to long. i feel like we've gone beyond that level. once i moved to california, we barely talked. and it was my fault i'll admit that. i have a slight problem keeping contact with people and i hardly ever called her. but once my life lead me back to florida, we picked up right where we left off. it was as if nothing had changed.
our friendship survived that. two years of hardly speaking to each other. i always considered her my best friend though, and i never once forgot about her. i know once i move to iceland i won't make the same mistake twice. i don't really have friends there, so i would definately hold on to her whenever i needed someone to talk to.
